My original BB Bold 9870 broke so I bought a second hand one and put my SIM in it.
Eveything was fine except I was receiving the 907 COD error when trying to run Blackberry Protect.
Got mine working. Heres how..
First off I made sure my new (second hand) phone was fully updated using the desktop software.
I had naturally, previously done a security wipe of it.
I then fully updated App World, using my previous login details.
Then I cleared the cache in the phones internet browser.
(Don't know if this helps but I did it anyway)
I made sure WIFI and data connections were both activated.
(WIFI alone will not work)
I went to App World on the phone, saw BlackBerry Protect in the uninstalled area
and selected re-install. It did this. Then, eventually, BB Protect ran, did a data backup and now
on the BB Protect website I have two devices showing (my original broke phone and my working phone)
