Help please?! Can't make or receive calls?

I got my phone second hand but I inserted a contract Tmobile sim into it. However, the first time I tried to call it says, 'No service currently available please try again' I checked if I'd accidently turned off the connections but they were all on. I took the battery out and everything, help? Also, I can't send or receive text messages and I'm unable to set up my bbm. Help, please?

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.

Was your BlackBerry Curve 9320 smartphone originally purchased from your current mobile service provider? If it was, then I recommend contacting them to verify that you have the correct services enabled.

If it wasn't purchased from them initially, was it unlocked for use on another wireless network? You may want to verify this with your point of purchase. This KB article should provide more information on this. "Changing the service provider or network" http://blackberry.com/btsc/KB03889 Thanks.
