Help please bbm wont work

i setup bbm then made a blackberry id account on setup but when im on setup the blackberry id box isnt ticked idk if this has anything to do with it and should it matter if i set up bbm first

First of all you have to create your BlackBerry ID which will allow access to various BlackBerry Applications like BBM, App World ,BlackBerry Protect etc.Please check those Articles :
