I'm getting a recurring message that it's trying to connect elsewhere.  I don't want it to connect to anything but I can't stop the message from recurring

Re: Help with BlackBerry Curve 8520

Thanks for the response  .  .  .  the message I keep getting is:-

"You are attempting to open a secure connection, but the server's certificate is invalid"

and the options are:- "Continue" - "Close Connection" - "View Certificate" - "Trust Certificate".

I simply want to get rid of this message  .  .  .  for ever.

Hi there,

Are you looking for Hindi fonts for your Curve 8520 having OS5 or you're looking for something else? Can you  clarify ?

Hello Waratah

Have you recently update BlackBerry Messenger application to version 7 or higher ?

If you have then refer to this Knowledge Base and try those suggestion :

KB33968: "You are attempting to open a secure connection, but the server's certificate chain is not valid." displayed after upgrading to BlackBerry Messenger 7.0.X on the BlackBerry smartphone
