turn on suggestions

So, i have broken my phone...
I kind of bit down on the screen, pretty hard, and it hasnt cracked the screen or anything... just wont turn on properly 
it goes to a bright white screen and the light that flashes when you have a message is flashing, can anyone help? or will i have to go into a shop?
