Home Screen Icons

Hi,

I am new to the world of blackberry's and have just purchased a new Curve 8900.

I am just struggling to do one task - Is it possible to change the six shortcut icons at the bottom of the homescreen, i want to replace the media shortcut with the text message shortcut.

Thanks

Shaun

Hi Shawn,

I had trouble with this too!

The six icons at the bottom of the main screen are the first six icons in your home folder. The home folder is the first set of icons you will see when you press the menu key. Highlight the icon you wish to move and then press the menu key.  Select move, and position it to be one of the first six of the home folder. If you've downloaded an app and it's in the download folder, you'll need to move it to the home folder first before you'll be able to position it.

Hope this helps everyone.
