I've tried things on the internet, but no success.
I've installed an app and remove from BB which doesn't remove icon. Some say the BB has to be Rebooted to clean up left over things. I find this unusual that a normal user wouldn't know how to uninstall apps properly especially having to reboot.
I want to be able to restart (reboot) my BB without pulling the battery. Anyone who knows let me know thanks!

Try the following -
Alt (left) + Cap (right) + Del
Pressing the keys together will make your to reboot but battery pull device reboot is not equal to the key press reboot.

Hey had the same problem with mine. the battery is toast. it got to the point that i couldn't use it even plugged in. got a new battery and my problem was solved. the battery is dead but it has a short making the device think it has power to boot than goes dead again. The hourglass/clock came up than screen flashed white and rebooted again continued doing it till i plugged it in, eventually battery compleatly shorted and device did not boot at all. Need new battery.
