I CANT OPEN MY BB (CURVE 8520). THE ONLY REACTION IT HAS, IS WHEN I PUT IT IN THE POWER TO SHOW A LIGHTNING ON THE SCREEN.

I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS THE BATTERY BUT WHEN I TRIED OUT ONOTHER BATTERY FROM OTHER SIMILAR BB THE RESULT WAS THE SAME.

CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME AS I HAVE LOST ALL MY CONTACTS AND CAN NOT ENTER TO MAKE A BACKUP.

Battery is just drain completely. You may try charging it for around 6 - 8 hours. Lightning Bolt indicates that it is charging, which is a good sign.

Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the charging cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage). If it doesn't reboot on the first attempt, leave it several more hours. I've had one charge for two days before it came back to life after an extreme battery depletion. Every 3-4 hours, with the device still connected to the charger, you can remove and replace the battery to see if it reboots.

I TRIED THE LAST TWO DAYS BOTH ADVISES (OF "-xXx-" AS WELL OF "JSanders") BUT NO ANY RESULT. STILL MY BB CURVE 8520 IS CLOSED AND I CANT OPEN IT.

ANY OTHER IDEA TO HELP ME SOMEBODY.

Thanks for your advices. I have tried many times after charging several hours and taking out the battery when in power but could not bring it into life. It is still off and is not possible to open it. The only sign when I put it in power to show the battery with a lightning bolt in the middle of the screen. However I am still trying you tip and do not give up, but I wrote in case there is any other idea or somebody knows this specific problem.

Don't worry, you've done it.

THIS IS ALL CAPS ALL UPPERCASE AND IS DIFFICULT FOR THE EYE TO READ.

This is normal case, lower and Upper where needed, which is easier for the eye to read and comprehend.
