I don't have e-mail on my BB Curve 8520

Hello everybody!

 

I cannot configure the email on my BB Curve 8520: I'm going to Settings, I choose the option "Create or Add an email address" , I click "Next" and then I have this message "Your device had a problem connecting to server".

 

Someone could help me to understand and solve this problem?

do you have a data plan associated with the device

I didn't know I need it. I subscribed now to activate it, but it still doesn't work. It doesn't work instantaneously?
