I dont have Blackberry User Tools CD. HELP!

I just got blackberry curve 8900 without the user tools CD. Whenever I connect my phone to the computer, it always asks for the CD and some sorts of installations and im ONLY able to connect the mass card or memory card but not the device itself. I tried downloading Desktop Manager before but it says there: Connect the Device though my blackerry is already connected with usb cable. Tell me what to do..

Please expand on that...you download DTM and, while downloading (as opposed to installing), it presents that error message? And that is the exact wording of the error message? Please clarify, with precise information.
