Icon in my application screen that won't go away

Hopefully a quick question. I have an icon in my application screen called "Pocket Express" . Number one, I don't remember downloading it. Regardless, it's there. I would like to delete the thing. I've went into my applications list, and it's not there. When I click on it, it bring me to an online site and wants me to download this program. So I downloaded the program. Then it appeared in my applications list. I deleted it from there, did a total restart on my BP, and the icon is still there.. !!! What can I do to delete it without completely re-formating my phone.

Re: Icon in my application screen that won't go away

Sounds like it's a shortcut to download the application. Those are pushed down to BlackBerries from the carrier. You can go into Options | Advanced Options | Service Book and delete it from there. However it will come back then you reset the device or new service books get pushed down to your device. You can just hide the icon however

Welcome to the forums cynthiaf :smileyhappy: I think that this software is probably available through your carrier and the icon you see is ther so you can download it. Just hide the icon: scroll over it in the applications home screen, press the menu/blackberry button and click on "hide".
