Icons no longer highlighted

All of a sudden today the icons are not highlighted when there is a new sms, or when I scroll over them. Instead of the yellow circle behind the icon, all I get is a very thin lined box around it. This makes it very difficult to know where I am on the home screen, and really limits the use of my BBerry! I have no idea why things changed or how to fix it. Any ideas?

Re: Icons no longer highlighted

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Let's try this: take the battery out of the phone while it's ON, lease it out for a minute,

replace it and let the phone reboot 1-2 min. Then see if the same condition occurs.
