I have been trying to import music to my SDHC card from itunes. It will only import only newly purchased music, but will not let me import music I had bought months ago. Someone told me to make a Playlist and import from that, but even that wont work. Still only the new songs I bought.

Anyone?

any old music that has the protection on it will not transfer. nothing you can do but move forward... apple was forced to remove the protection and thats why new music will transfer

It may a little time consuming (inless apple improved the speed of cd burning) but you could burn your older music to cd's then use another program to extract mp3's. Windows media player can extract mp3s. If your using a mac there is probably a program you can use also.

Yeah...thats what I did for my daughters phone. I guess thats what I'll do for mine too. Just didn't know if there was an easier way than burning CD's that I'll never use.

I didn't know that. Makes sense yet it should have applied to ALL music a person bought before they put that in place. Oh well....I'll burn it on a cd and do it that way!
