Initializing SIM card

"Initializing SIM card" is the message that appears in my bb CURVE 9300

 

I have tried with different sim cards, I have formatted the phone, deleted all data, re-install it all again and updated it to the latest operative system 6.0 packet 2647 using the bb synch software and it still does it!

 

Is there anything else I can do or is it just broken for good?

 

Help appreciated I am also willing to help others!!!

To clarify, this Initializing SIM card error has always been happening since you obtained your device? Or did it just start happening recently?

 

Is your device branded to the same carrier as your SIM or is your device unlocked? 

 

If you put your SIM in another device, does it work?

I have the same problem but on a Z10 . This device has worked for 3 month and now .....
