Internet Browser keeps crashing

Hi!

I'm using a BlackBerry Curve 9360 with OS 7.1.0.746

Ever since I upgraded to OS7.1 my browser keeps crashing intermittently...and in the event log I get the following error:

Name: net.rim.device.api.io.nfc
GUID: 80b9eb5e34472598
Time: Feb 05, 2013 15:41:01
SNIE Connection was interrupted

This happens very frequently.....

I have updated my software to the latest version, reinstalled the OS a couple of times, given my phone for servicing once, yet, the browser keeps crashing.

Hope someone can help me with this!

Hello surya2591,

 

Sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with your Browser crashing on your BlackBerry smartphone.

 

Do you recall whether or not you restored backup data when complete the software update you mentioned?

 

If so, please backup and complete the following clean application loading process:

Please test again before restoring any backup.

Hi,

 

Thank you for your prompt response.

 

Yes i did restore backed up data when i upgraded.


I tried following the step given for a clean backup in http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320

 

I was unable to do so as when i hit update from the device options, it kept giving me "no updates available" and there were no other options available.

 

I am using BB Desktop software version 7.1.0.37

Hi I'm also have the same problem and I have the new version and my phone isn't even a month old now what must I do I have downgrade and the error was still ther and to I upgrade it again and is still the same pleas help email me if u have somting leonardduplooy@live.com
