Can anyone please help, I am trying to set up my blackberry to access the internet. I have spoken to someone at virgin mobile who gave me various settings to input but as they don't support balckberry phones couldn't tell me where to put these settings and thats is all the help she could give me. One thing I am unsure of is that the gprs in the top right hand corner of the screen is in lowercase, from what I can make out this should be in uppercase is this a setting I need to change?

Thanks for that but how do I change my browser?

I thought that I had sorted out the problem but no such luck, it was just using my WiFi connection to connect. I have set up the APN settings and changed the browser to internet explorer not Opera, but it should still work with explorer, but it will only connect through WiFi? I still think that the gprs in the top right of the screen should be in uppercase? Please help.

Did you set your browser to HotSpot at Options > Advanced . > Browser?

Yes set to hot spot and used internet explorer when I get home I will try firefox see if that works any better.

Still not been able to access the internet on virgin any more ideas?
