Internet and Apps won't work

Everytime I attempt to go into an application that connects with the internet like facebook or my weather feature I get an unable to connect message. The same goes for trying to get on the internet. Is there an outage? I have restarted the phone, changed wi-fi settings, option settings, and numerous other things that have previously fixed this in the past. Is there anything else that I can do?? Thanks

Have you rebooted by removing the battery? If that doesn't solve it I'd contact Verizon.
