Re: JVM Error 102 -- BEFORE YOU WIPE YOUR SYSTEM --

HI,

I got past it and deleted the files. Now my phone screen shows wierd icons, with the same names as earlier. I tried "Restore to factory setings" but it does not work, what is the next step?

Re: JVM Error 102 -- BEFORE YOU WIPE YOUR SYSTEM --

I just forgot to put a space before the file name, lets hope this works now!

It just said it was erasing that file name and it is rebooting now!

Re: JVM Error 102 -- BEFORE YOU WIPE YOUR SYSTEM --

Hey soph_17,

You need to have the BlackBerry Desktop software installed (but not running!)

You can download it here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/

Once you have it installed you shouldn't get that error.

Re: JVM Error 102 -- BEFORE YOU WIPE YOUR SYSTEM --

So...following all of the steps outlined here for the JVM 102 error.

Phone boots fine now, however...my screen is now black and white..and it has mainly generis icons.

I figured something happened with the Themes so i looked there.

I see the following:

None (Active)

BB Dimension Icon

BB Dimension Today

Verizon

It will allow me to roll over each....but nothing happens when I click to select a theme. It also says "No Preview Available" at the bottom with a greyed out image.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
