I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 that's password protected. Lately, it's keyboard has been having a few issues, but I was managing. Now the "E" key is refusing to work. That wouldn't be a problem considering my password doesn't have the letter "E" in it. But after messing up my password twice, the phone is requiring me to type the word "blackberry". I can type every letter, except for the "E" of course. Is there anyway to get around this or do I need to go directly to my wireless provider and have them fix it? Or should I just get a new phone? I've had this for about a year and a half now, and it's been getting a little slow to begin with.

Try the following:
Connect your BlackBerry device through USB cable to Laptop/Desktop.
Now open BlackBerry Desktop Software.
Here enter the same password as you have it on your device.
Now you can access and swipe your device to Restore Factory Settings.
Hope this resolves your Problem!
