Re: Log off...Blackberry ID

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

The BB ID is deeply integrated into the BB itself. Hence, there is no "logoff" since the BB requires continual access to the BB ID information, stored on the RIM servers, in order to properly provide to you with your services.

Good luck!

Re: Log off...Blackberry ID

Traffic between the BB and various services is always intermittent, but it's difficult to say how much it will be, as it depends very much on the specific things you leave running on your BB. But, if you are connected to WiFi, and your Services Status says that BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) is connected via WiFi, then it will be using your WiFi for these things rather than your data plan from your carrier.

Re: Log off...Blackberry ID

Excellent! Then you shouldn't have any concerns for your carrier data plan, at least not when you are WiFi connected.

Let us know if there are any other questions you have. As you said, you are new to BBs, and we're always happy to help with others understanding, well, anything at all!

Cheers!
