Losing contacts when adding Enterprise email account

I'm adding my work Enterprise email account to Blackberry Curve. When I go to set up on phone I receive a message about losing contacts on phone. I backed up contacts on computer. Will i have any problems updating then tranferring my contacts back to phone? Just a little nervous.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Enterprise-activated BBs have pretty much full control taken by BES. Hence, I always found it best to put ALL of my contacts into my corporate messaging system (e.g., Exchange) so that the OTA sync can work seamlessly. If you need to, you can identify them in Outlook via groups and such.

Otherwise, you should talk to your BES admis...they control, well, everything.
