Lost data

Hi,

I fixed a error that I had on my BlackBerry Curve 8520 by updating my BB but I lost all my pictures on my BB. And I was wondering if it is possible to get the pictures back that I lost.

Thank you

Re: Lost data

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Probably not, but you might try Mass Storage Mode and some PC-based utilities (no, I've no idea which might work). If you stored the photos on your Media Card, then they actually should still be there...and there may well be separate utilities to try and recover deleted items by removing the card from the BB and using a card reader on a PC.

For future reference, I'd recommend you conduct regular backups...see the link in my aut-sig on this post for instructions.

Good luck!

Re: Lost data

Yes I tried that by connecting it to the PC and then running Recuva a program to recover files with but the Curve does not show the internal storage of the phone on My Computer. It just shows the EMPTY miniSD storage. And I do not have a miniSD installed on the BB.

Re: Lost data

Then I'd say that data is not recoverable.
