Hi i have a curve 9300 with a hotmail account configured to recive mails but all my sms and mails appear together in both inbox (both sms and email).

I want to separate this but i cant find how.

Ok go to your sms inbox > blackberry button > options > inbox settings > you can then see your emails and sms just untick your email to stop email coming to sms inbox

I might be wrong, but I think the complaint is that all messages are coming to the main message list folder and not that emails are ending up in the SMS folder.

All the boxes could be unticked and the icon hidden thus disabling the main or summary box.

The problem is that emails end up in sms inbox, and sms end up in email inbox, i know there is a message folder where i can see all kind of messages but the same happens in my sms and email inbox, its crazy!

Then is is very different from our original understanding.

Has this occured since you updated the software or installed a new app?

Ok, problem solved, i dont know how... but i entered just now to the iboxes and they are all separated but it will be nice to know how to solve it if it happens again.

the problem started since i configured my account i guess i dont really know if i installed something or what...

Thanx! that helped me get it!!! go to Messages (Main Messages Icon)  there select options, then Inbox Management, uncheck the e-mail account and text messages in order of getting everything to work individually.... You'll get a tiny envelopment for your e-mail accounts.... I finally have mine.
