Micro SD cards

Does anyone know if the 8330 supports micro SDHC cards? This card only works in devices that supports SD Specification Version 2.0. The one I am looking at is an 8GB Kingston card.

Thx.

Re: Micro SD cards

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Yes they are supported. Here is a list of the max size of the card allowed by your device software:

Re: Micro SD cards

Thanks! It looks like that's the answer even though they don't specifically describe it SDHC...rather they refer to the version number.

Re: Micro SD cards

all 8GB microSD cards are HDSC so it means the Curve can read HDSC Smiley Wink

Re: Micro SD cards

Thanks...I finally figured that out. It seems that the real problem now is the Kingston card I bought is DOA. I went out an bought a card reader that can read SDHC cards and my computer said there is an I/O error reading from that drive. Kingston tech support verified that the card is probable bad. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it and getting a new one.

Re: Micro SD cards

Hi,

I had to return three before I got a "winner" . I used Sanyo.

Apparently it doesn't vary by vendor!

I don't understand why this occurrs, but I've seen alot of users have the same problem.

Thanks
