Missing Lock icon on desktop after software upgrade

Hi

I have the Blackberry curve 8520.  I have just updated the software version from V4.2 to V5.2.

I now have no icon on the desktop to lock the keypad.  Even when i use * and Enter key it does not take the command.

I have been trying to resolve this all day.  Thanks in advance

Re: Missing Lock icon on desktop after software upgrade

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

The lock function changed. Now you must use the lock button on the top of your BB to lock the keypad. If you assign a password lock to your BB, you will have an additional homescreen icon to activate that. This is how it now works and there are no methods to reverse it (save, if course, for falling back to your older OS that worked differently).

Good luck!
