Music storage

I have installed a 2GB media card in my 8310 Curve, and have loaded about 100 mp3 songs onto the phone using the media mgr. Roxio software, but it won't allow anymore music to be loaded unless I delete other mp3 files to make room. I have checked the properties of my media card and it says I still have 1.4 GB available, the phone is recognizing the card just fine and the camera says I have space available for over 200 pics, so storage space should not be an issue. I have tried transferring mp3 files with mass storage enabled, and disabled but still acts like there is no space for the files.  Any ideas ?                 Thanks

Re: Music storage

Hi and welcome to the forums!

(I'm a taker) :smileyhappy:

Please see if you match up with these options:

Media Card window

ON

Encryption

NONE

Mass storage support

ON

Auto enable when connected

YES

On your media card do you have these folders?

Blackberry

Pictures

Music

Ringtones

Videos

Voicenotes
this is the folder structure that the Blackberry needs to allocate the media to.

Do you have these folders on your media card?

 Please let me know,Thanks,
