My BB device not booting

Hello BlackBerry,

I am having a problem, since morning, my BB is not booting, I had removed the battery and tried to start, but it just showing your BB logo with white background like the attach image:


And presently am in such a place for my job where I'll not get any BB Service Center.

Please Help, I need the BB badly as all my company mails comes into this every now and then..:-(

Have you recently installed any new applications on the BlackBerry?

 

Would you please try starting the device in Safe Mode and see if it boots up properly?

Yes...today I got an update of Economic Times, after upgrading, when I tried to reboot, the problem occured.

Hi. Like I said I have the same problem. Even I updated the same app. I think there's something wrong with the app.

Restart in safe mode and delete the app. and then restart your phone in normal mode.

 

It worked for me. Try it.

how long do u hold it for?  ive tried that several times and its just loading  as normal doesnt say safe mode :smileysad:

Hold it till the loading screen appears. Then let it load. When it starts, it'll start in safe mode.
