My Blackberry 9360 keeps freezing

I have only had my blackberry for 4 months.  The screen keeps freezing and sometimes a white screen appears with a Error 603 message.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB23951 "Error 603", "App Error 603", or "JVM 603" appears on the BlackBerry smartphone

Hopefully it contains something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.


If you do not wish to deal with this problem and since your BB is so new, you may rather elect to seek warranty support...you seek that from your original place of purchase or an authorized service center (depending on your region). When you purchased your BB, you should have received documentation specifying the terms and methods of your warranty coverage.
