To unlock your device from a device password that you already set , you have to enter the correct password that you already set. If you're having problem then first perform a battery pull restart by removing the battery while your device is Powered On . wait for a min. then reinsert it back .
After reboot you have to try and enter the correct password. If you have a mixture of different characters in your password,and you are not able to properly enter those on the BlackBerry keyboard. For example , if your password is
So, while on the BlackBerry keyboard you think you are typing sannas123, you are actually typing sannas1er. Please type it again carefully , I hope you'll be able to enter those in your device . Or else if you fail then your device will wipe itself as for security reason.

If the phone is new kindly get it replaced from the service center.
This post has already been solved by the user , and why should a Carrier or Service Center replace that phone ? It is just a Device password that an user set , not a hardware or software issue !
