I didn't see how it happened but it just restarted and when it turned on it was back to factory defaults. I did not introduced a wrong password 10 times. Thing is my the apps I had downloaded were still there, my photos were also but my notes and Blackberry Messenger contacts were gone. I also had to set up my email accounts all over again but I don't care at all. What I do care about are my notes, I had too many and too important things there and I cannot accept that they are gone. Also, if I try to create a new note it just doesn't save. Is there a way I can get my notes back? I didn't have a back up at the time, is there anything I can do? Please help.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
In our technology-laden world, spontaneous data loss has happened before, and will likely happen again. It's not a good thing, and you would be wise to have your device evaluated if you remain in warranty.
Since, as you say, you have no backup, then you have no source of data from which to restore. Once something is deleted on a BB, it is gone forever from the BB, and no recovery capability directly on the BB exists. Only by using one of the many FREE backup capabilities can one protect oneself -- after all, the device itself is a commodity, but the data thereon is priceless.
You have migrated now from the latter to the former in this old saying:
Backups, quite simply, are neither an optional nor a reactive activity.
Good luck!
