Hi folks,

   I had changed from ORANGE france to Free ( france also) operator and I am unable to unlock my 8250 .

  I had received from orange a valid MEP2 code and :

   - When booting curve is ask for a MEP2 code arguing the phone is locked with this phone. After enter code , phone is freezing ( no pad, no key  ) . With old SIM, new SIM and another orange SIM

   - In SIM advanced application menu , when entering MEP2 code got "valid code" , or nothing and curve is freezing ... Also with the 3 sim card.

 The only way I found to unfreeze is to remove battery ...  What is quite strange is when I insert a valid ORANGE SIM card, I got "no valid SIM card" which mean I cannot use my phone .. as a phone !!!

  I reset the mobile , using erase all, but stil the same ...

Please help...

OK , local repair technician and Orange techs complains that it is a HARDWARE problem wich lock any aptents to unlock my phone .

 Returns cost more than 20 euros and I already spend 30 . 

 Now, this phone cost à least 50, sometime 70 .. unlocked .

 It's last time in my life, I have a RIM phone...
