My device shows that my email ID and password are in valid

I activated my mobileemail several times on my device. Lastly I decided to change my password to avoid usage by my daughter. After 2 days it stopped working. I deleted the account. When I reinstall it, it shows that my email ID and password are invalid. All what I need to do is to retrieve it because I'm losing a very important information which results in missing deadlines of my clients.

Can anyone please help urgently! I'm losing business as a result of this.

Can you please verify for me that you are still able to login to the email account using the web interface from a computer? Are you able to validate the email account using the Email Account Validation Tool? For more information, please see the following blog post: http://bbry.lv/ZzMNKY

Hi

I'm able to login on the computer. But it doesn't accept my password, when I click on "forgot password", it leads me to another page where I have to fill in my details. After submitting them, I receive a message that the activation code has been sent to the device but I can't find it as I fail to understand if it is sent to my handheld device or to the same computer I use to login.

Can you please clarify where it is that your password isn't accepted? Is this when trying to access your email on the computer?

It is not accepted by both the computer and my handheld device (Blackberry Curve 8520)

Hi Pastorf,

 

If you are unable to access the email account from a computer you will not be able to add it to the BlackBerry smartphone. I'd recommend contacting the mail provider to obtain access and then trying to re-add it to the BlackBerry smartphone once you can login to it from a computer.

 

Let me know how you make out with that.

Thanks so much for the information, can you advise me on how can I reset my password or provide with a link that can lead me to the page I can submit my details in order to get it reset because I have noticed that the problem is with forgetting the password and it needs to be reset.
This email address whose password needs to be reset is PastorF@mobileemail.vodafonesa.co.za. I believe that if I can just have a way to reset it, it will work perfectly!

Hey Pastorf,

 

I would suggest getting in touch with your mobile network provider for password reset assistance as it looks like the email account may be hosted throught them.
