Need help :( <blackberry curve 8520>

HI to all,

I just recently update my blackberry curve 8520 to os 5. I downloaded blackberry desktop manager v7 and installed in my laptop, after installing desktop manager I plugged my blackberry device and it prompts me that a latest OS version is available to download. My blackberry device's previous version is OS 4. After I downloaded and successfully update my device, I just noticed that my network is on SOS mode only and no network coverage, I have an active similar and my local telco is GLOBE TELECOM, what seems to be the problem.

Please help me guys

Hi tanzim,

Thank you for your reply regarding with my device issue, correct me if im wrong with the upgrading steps,

1. download BB Desktop manager v7 on blackberry website
2. intall it
3. connnect my phone
4. prompt me of latest version for my device
5. upgrade os verison
6. unplug device
7. manually configure phone

the boom, SOS icon appear in signal
