New Phone won't turn on.

I was just intializing the phone for the sync to the laptop.

And well, the Blackberry software froze, and then the phone won't turn on. It won't turn on despite my touching any of the buttons or any recharging.

 

I just got this phone and only had it for one day. It was never dropped or taken outside or exposed to any moisture I do not see any reason why this is happening.

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner:

 

With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescirbed for most gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
