No data coverage

Hi, I have a Blackberry 8520. The problem I was first having was that I was trying to download the new blackberry messenger because it deleted itself, so I tried delelting it and re-downloading it but I needed the new app world and have tried to download that but when I click the upgrade button it doesn't do a thing? I heard it was a data coverage problem and I was told online to options-advanced options-host routing table-(press blackberry button)-register now and then once again nothing happens, need some help here, thanks.

As you deleted your  BBM so are you able to use other BlackBerry services like email , Internet browser  without any issue ?

 

When you click on Register now , did you recieve the registration message in your message box ?

No I can't seem go on the internet or anything. I have taken the battery out and put it back in and it seems to have fixed the problem. Taken the battery out, always seems to work haha

Indeed yes ! Battery pull is always considered as first steps in resolving any issue , I'm glad you did the same :smileyhappy:
