No "SEND" option to reply to email

I've got a bb curve 8310, but for some reason I'm no longer able to reply to an email message.  I can send and receive, but when I attempt to reply to the message there is no option on the menu for "SEND."  I'm using v4.4.4.170  I've reset severl times without success and this problem just began recently and I haven't updated any software.

Any suggestions?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

 

By reset do your mean a battery Pull:

 

Pull the battery while the device is ON, replace after a minute,

let the device reboot 1-3 min, try it again.

 

If it doesn't work:

Go to OPTIONS - ADVANCED OPTIONS - HOUST ROUTING TABLES click to enter,menu key-select REGISTER NOW.

You will get a registration email and new service books.

 

Pull the battery while the device is ON, replace after a minute,

let the device reboot 1-3 min, try it again.

Delete your email account from the phone and re-establish it. This may fix it.

Thank you for your help, but I tried each of these options, but neither fixed the problem.  Since I'm a new user on this site, I may had mistakenly indicated the problem was solved, but that's not the case.

 

I did receive a new registration as (you) suggested, but there's still no "SEND" option when I attempt to reply to any email message.

Thanks so much, deleting both email accounts and reestablishing them corrected the problem!

Hi,

Are you setup as a BIS personal phone or a BES corporate phone?

also what email are you using?

Have you upgraded operations systems on the BB?

I mistakenly placed a checkmark in the wrong box.  The message that corrected the problem was the one that recommeded to delete my email address and then reestablish it.  I can't deselect the check mark and reenter in the correct message.

 

UPDATE:  I discovered the edit function and corrected my error.  A check mark has now been placed in the message that solved my problem.
