Notification too shorton 8310

Is there a way to extend the length of a ringtone?  My husband and I have the 8310, and after 4 rings, his goes directly to voice mail.  He rarely gets to it before it stops ringing.  Can we make it ring for a longer period of time?

Re: Notification too shorton 8310

You can select a different ringtone that rings longer.

Did you set vibration + ringtone? If so, it first vibrates and then rings. That might also be the problem.

If your question was answered, please accept it as a sollution and / or give Kudos ;-)

Re: Notification too shorton 8310

Check the follwoing -

GSM string: *61*[Phone Number]*11*[Time]#

In place of phone number put in your voice mail box number (call your carrier to know that) and in place of time put any value i.e. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30. These values are seconds after which your calls will be diverted/forwarded to voice mail. Setting a higher value will meet your query.

This string is applicable GSM carriers only.
