OS5.0 update - bug with media player

Hi

I updated my currve 8520 with the official release OS 5 .592

I face an issue with the media player. When playing video files, I am unable to fast forward the clip! When I click on progress bar and slide the trackpad, there is hardly any increment in the clip. Smiley Surprised

Does anyone else face this issue? How to resolve it?

Thanks in advance!

Re: OS5.0 update - bug with media player

Seems to be a general problem, the media only FF's a couple of seconds per swipe of the trackpad.

Makes coming back to the middle of a 50 minute podcast impossible. Here's hoping for a swift patch.

Hi. I have same problem. Wondering to switch back to previous OS. Anyone tried this? Is there any real advantage in this update?

Re: OS5.0 update - bug with media player

I have the same problem, and been following every existing BB forum with no positive answer.

Besides, hidden media files will not be hidden anymore after playing (really annoying for privacy issues).

Please let me know if there is any solution, or at least another player for BB8520.
