I understand what you are saying re synchronizing the data but how do I get the program on the BB?  The only calendar on there now is the one that came with it when I purchased it which is not Outlook?  Thanks

Hi,

In the setup of the Desktop software it runs through a wizard the ask you how to sync 2way, 1 way, etc.

In your initial config I would pick two way because you will need it later. For the initial you will actually just download your Outlook to the BB. When you start using the BB then the sync (2 way) will update both calendars.

Makes sense?  Do not forget to NOT PICK ADDRESS BOOK as The program will die when it cannot find any records.

hello,

when you use a Blackberry, you use the Message/contact/Calendar/Browser applications on the Blackberry.
And on your PC, you use Outlook 2003 and Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

Between the two, you have the Desktop Manager that will enable you to synchronize between :
  • Outlook Calendar <-> Blackberry Calendar
  • Outlook Mail <-> Blackberry Mail
  • Outlook Contacts <-> Blackberry AddressBook
  • application installs <-> Third Party Applications for your Blackberry

 

In particular, you will never install Outlook on your Blackberry.
