yes, absolutely. Remember it or lose everything. I hope you did a backup of your data recently.

you need to read the documentation of the Desktop Manager.
to make things short, you can paste the whole content of your backup archive file to your BlackBerry device. It is in the advanced options IIRC.

Re: PASSWORD KEEPER?? HOW TO USE IT??

Password Keeper is simple to use - that folder/icon requires you to first have a personal  password and then you can store numerous password like email passwords, bank details, ID Numbers, etc

I have been using it for a while now and to date I have not had any problems at all - I am **bleep** sure the encruytion is quiet high for hackers not to get into

If someone steals your phone, they need a password to access your passwords from your password keeper icon

Password is not correct ?

I use my PK all of the time and really like it. After having my BB for a year now I finally decided to load  the Desktop manager however it did not load properly. (This was 3 days ago and I have not had to access the PK until about an hour ago). I now get the message that the password is not correct. The password is very simple for me so I know that I did not forget it.

I am now up to 7 attempts.

I also removed the battery for about 30 seconds and cleared my cache this morning.  Would trying to load the Desktop Manager or removing the battery and cache have anything to do with my BB forgetting my password?

Is it possible that the device defaulted to the manufactures password? And if so, what would that be? I set it up so long ago. Is it my last four of my phone number?

Any help is appreciated.

Missing Password keeper icon

Did anyone's password keeper icon go missing ever? Mine did and I don't know how to get it back. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
