Pairing my blackberry with my PC

I am trying to pair my blackberry to my PC. It recognizes the blackberry but cannot find a driver. It tells me to insert the disk that came with my device but that doesn't have anything to do with it. What driver is it looking for and where can I find it?

Re: Pairing my blackberry with my PC

thanks! I am a new user so i am still learning....

It doesn't give me a name of a driver.

I went into my computer and found the bluetooth folder in control panel. I got it to recognize the blackberry but it prompts that it can't find the driver. If i reboot the computer it says "recognized new hardware" then searches again for the driver and says the bluetooth connection to my blackberry failed. I am at a loss....

Re: Pairing my blackberry with my PC

When it asks for the driver can you tell it to look on the internet to find it?

That is the one you want.

Thanks

Re: Pairing my blackberry with my PC

Lets do this,

Download the version you want to install from here:

http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/

The CD may be corrupt, or the driver missing.

The download site is where the software for the disks comes from.

Thanks

Re: Pairing my blackberry with my PC

It's probably the fact that you are not using native MIcrosoft windows drivers:

Thanks,
