Phone Won't Power On

I've had my phone turned off for the last month because I am currently out of the country. I went to turn on the phone to use the alarm but it would not power on. I tried to charg the phone through my computer using the USB cord but the light stayed red. Is my battery shot? Is there a way to turn on my phone?

Re: Phone Won't Power On

Do you have Desktop Manager installed on your PC?  If not, it won't charge through the USB port.  Your best bet is to plug it into a wall charger.

Re: Phone Won't Power On

John,

I do not have the Desktop Manager installed on my PC but I have charged the phone previously on that computer without the installation. Was the first time successfully charging the phone just a fluke?

Thank you

Re: Phone Won't Power On

Usually the drivers need to be installed in order to charge via USB from the computer.
