Pictures on Media Card

I wonder why is it that I have so many unknown/blank files along with my pictures that I transferred to my media card and I cannot delete them.  They are blank files with checks on them.  Does anyone know how to get rid of them?

Re: Pictures on Media Card

Try to delete the files you don't want.  If the name doesn't disappear, pull the battery with the device on and reinstall it.  Wait for reboot (1-3 mins) and check to see if the files are gone.  The same thing happened to me and this corrected it.  Hoe this info helps.

Re: Pictures on Media Card

ok, I was able to delete the unwanted blank files without pulling out the battery.  The delete button on the keypad did the job; which I didn't know to use before--I was always using the menu to try to find delete option.  Thank you!

Re: Pictures on Media Card

Did you reboot or turn on your PC while the BB was attached?

Thanks

Re: Pictures on Media Card

You mean to get those unwanted files did I reboot or restart the computer while BB was attached? No, don't remember doing that.  I use MacBook Pro, so I always drag and drop before detaching the device.
