I am the proud owner of a new Blackberry 8310 and I am having problems with loading applications. When I click on the Application Loader icon on the Blackberry Desktop Manager a window opens and I click on NEXT. Then it reads java application etc etc and reads the next bit and then a page appears with all of the text greyed out and I am unable to load applications.

Whatever it is that you want to add---did you "unzip" it? Are they made for your phone? Click the "add" button on the top, find it on the desktop and double click it to add it to the list.

Additionally...make sure that you have the latest OS installed on the computer...sometimes the phones need that to be done.
