Purge Outgoing Messages

Hi. I did a dumb thing and tried to e-mail myself a bunch of pictures I took on the Balckberry. It has now been "processing" for over an hour and completely bogged down my Blackberry. How can I delete these messages since the handheld runs so slowly that I cannot even get to the messsages section to delete them? Any suggestions?

Re: Purge Outgoing Messages

I would recommend to (with the BB powered on) remove the battery a few seconds, reinsert, and allow the device to reboot.

After reboot, go remove the message(s).

Re: Purge Outgoing Messages

I am afraid that did not work... it is still "processing" and won't allow me to delete anything... I can barely get to the messages section.

Re: Purge Outgoing Messages

You didn't catch it quick enough after the reboot, I am guessing.

If you could scroll to the Manage Connections and turn off the wireless, that would halt the data flow, and allow you to delete the messages.

or in Options > Mobile Network.

Otherwise, according to your signal, I have experienced about 3.5 MB of data being sent on an EDGE connection can take about 30 minutes... according to what you are sending, just set the BB aside and come back in a while :smileyhappy:

good luck.
