Just bought a refurbished unlocked BB Curve over the weekend.  And bought it for the WiFi.  I am currently with Fido and do not have any data plan.  Just use prepaid cards for the phone.  When I go through the set up it asks about email, but I don't know how to set up any sort of email for it.  Is it possible to set up an email account for it without a data plan?  I just want to be able to send or receive emails from it when I am at hot spots or any places with WiFi.  Is that possible? 

Mainly I want to be able to upload pictures via email but cannot do it through my regular email on my BB as it doesn't give me a way to upload pictures using the website of my regular email client.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

All services, regardless of access channel (e.g., carrier data network versus WiFi) depend on a data plan. This is because, regardless of that access channel, you are still using the proprietary BB infrastructure hosted by the carrier and RIM.
