Receiving Mails but can see them in my bb

Hi

 

I am receiving mails , the red action comes on the mailbox, but when i open my mailbox i dont see my mails . I just changed my battery today .  Can somebody help , is this because i changed my battery >

Hello venkajay and welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

 

Just to clarify, you get a notification of a new incoming email yet when you go to your Messages folder, there are no messages displayed? 

 

What software version do you have installed on your BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 smartphone (under Options>About)? 

 

Do you get any error message when you go to your Messages folder? If so, what is that error?
