Yep...that's the only way I can listen to music,but when I select the "activate speakerphone" which is the main speaker then it shows that Red Muted Speaker Icon

Hi,

Am too having the same 9300, and i tried what is presently ur issue...i can see the red mute sign when am pressing the currency button only when the speaker volume is mute...so,dont know how but somehow ur speaker volume got muted even with the damaged keys...

My phone fell and then it could only volume up..I then sent it in for repairs then unfortunately I had afew problems with the cellphone insurance,they checked it but didn't fix it,when it came back none of the volume buttons worked,I never bothered trying again since I never really needed my volume buttons

I don't think so because they took the buttons out so its not short-circuiting or anything..because it works ok with everything else,its just the music and video

Am sorry but it seems the only way to get the volume with the volume keys...there seems no other option to unmute it...

I tried all with my 9300,but couldnt find any other way to do it...

Is there any other way to control my volume then...any way,any app,code,etc?

Not that I know of... I wonder if you got on a speakerphone call and upped the volume all the way would it carry over to the media player?

Or while connected to a bluetooth speaker or wired speaker.

That's what I want to try..but does blackberry have a headset with volume buttons,or a bluetooth speaker
