Reinstall an OS

In reviewing previous threads concerning camera start-up problems, one common suggestion has been a reinstall of the OS. Any in put on this?

Re: Reinstall an OS

Well a reinstall of the OS can do a lot of wonders. But do you have a backup on your computer for you BB? If not DO NOT create one now you could be just backing up the problem. If you have no backup and no one else has any other ideas you may just have to wipe the device and start fresh but losing all apps among other things.

Lorriem is right. Do you have any specific error messages when trying to use the camera?

Well, reinstalling the OS is the last action before sending your Blackberry for repair at your Carrier. It's not something very hard to do, but you should try the other actions first (freeing memory, soft boot by removing the battery for 20s, et caetera).
