Re: Removed aps still leaving icons

You can only start hiding icons when ALL the icons appear.
L, Zen and Today options won't allow you to hide icons.

So, press Blackberry button to display all icons.. Then, hold down ALT+Blackberry button to select Hide.

When I push the BB button the double icons aren't there.  It only appears in L mode, not in any other mode or when I display all icons by pusing the BB button.

Re: Removed aps still leaving icons

When hiding an icon, you don't need to press the ALT key, only the Menu > Hide.

If it appears twice in the L theme, then one of them is there by default. Go to your full applications icon screen, and move the phone icon off of the first row of icons. Scroll to the icon, don't click it > Menu > Move. then scroll the icon down below the 2nd or 3rd rown of icons and click to place it there.

Now check your L theme.

Re: Removed aps still leaving icons

Sorry for the late post, I was just searching for an answer myself. When services were mentioned in the post, I looked at options-->advanced options-->service Book and removed the virtual link for the 2 apps that were left over.  I had handango and myspace. once I deleted them, and closed, they were GONE OFF MY SCREEN! So if you want to fully remove instead of just hiding, try this.
